In contemporary Christianity, many preachers focus heavily on soul salvation, often overlooking whether their congregants are destitute, unemployed, or starving. Over the years, however, one exceptional man of God has entirely rewritten this narrative. By looking far beyond the traditional pulpit, he acknowledges the fundamental reality that church members require practical, socioeconomic support to survive in a harsh world.

His Royal Majesty, King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, is a visionary leader whose profound compassion for the less privileged transcends regional boundaries, ethnic divisions, and denominational barriers. Apostle Chinyere strongly maintains that modern churches house countless individuals who desperately need external assistance to access quality education, secure gainful employment, or obtain life-saving medical care. This deep-seated conviction sparked his relentless drive to elevate the living standards of underprivileged Nigerians, completely irrespective of whether they belong to his ministry or not.

Since the inception of his ministry, Omega Power Ministries (OPM), nineteen years ago, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has positively transformed countless lives, focusing heavily on the poor, widows, orphans, and historically marginalized citizens. By strategically deploying the tithes and offerings collected by the church, he has ensured that ordinary worshippers experience tangible, life-altering breakthroughs across various sectors of human development.

To address critical medical deficits, the man of God established two state-of-the-art, fully equipped free specialist hospitals. These facilities cater explicitly to the healthcare needs of pregnant women, particularly those who would otherwise be entirely unable to afford medical care due to extreme financial hardship. Apostle Chinyere genuinely holds the welfare of all Nigerians at heart, recognizing that healthcare is a fundamental human right.

A primary driver behind the alarmingly high maternal mortality rate in Nigeria is that impoverished families are frequently forced to patronize unregistered medical centers, unqualified quacks, and illegal maternity homes. Consequently, many vulnerable women tragically lose their own lives and those of their unborn babies. This is a critical national crisis that the Founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries has systematically averted by offering a safe, free alternative.

At these OPM free specialist hospitals, every single service—ranging from initial registration, antenatal care, laboratory tests, and prescription drugs to complex surgical operations and general delivery—is provided completely free of charge. Going even further, Apostle Chinyere made it a mandatory policy that every woman who gives birth at these facilities must be served nutritious free meals, including traditional hot pepper soup with yam. Upon discharge, patients are also provided with direct financial assistance for transport to ensure they return home safely. This extraordinary institutional vision has saved the lives of thousands of Nigerian mothers and contributed immensely to reducing the country’s maternal mortality rates.

In the educational sector, Apostle Chinyere’s expansive vision has materialized into 43 free primary and secondary schools across Nigeria. This network includes a specialized free girls’ technical college and dedicated free schools tailored specifically for children living with autism and Down syndrome.

Through these institutions, the Apostle has fundamentally altered the status quo. He has guaranteed that impoverished families can send their children to top-tier schools entirely free of charge, liberating them from the crushing anxiety of school fees—a reality that starkly contrasts with what is obtainable in many modern churches globally. The man of God firmly believes that providing poor children with access to sound education alongside spiritual nourishment allows families to focus more deeply on their spiritual growth without economic distraction. Notably, these OPM free schools are not exclusive to church members; they welcome every underprivileged child, regardless of tribal origin or religious affiliation. Currently, these 43 operational schools play a vital role in reducing the high numbers of out-of-school children nationwide.

Beyond maintaining these schools and hospitals, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, through Omega Power Ministries, has awarded fully funded local and international university scholarships to more than 10,000 less privileged Nigerian youths, opening doors to global opportunities.

When it comes to job creation, the man of God actively secures sustainable employment for both his congregation and other vulnerable members of society. Recently, despite an incredibly demanding global schedule, the Apostle traveled extensively to various foreign nations to seek out strategic partnerships that would enhance the welfare of his community and country.

This singular, proactive diplomatic move successfully secured direct employment for 104 Nigerians within a prominent oil company in Saudi Arabia. Through these candid, practical efforts, he has systematically lifted heavy financial burdens off families, creating legal avenues for citizens to earn a sustainable income while serving God. It is an undeniable fact that his approach tackles the root causes of poverty rather than leaving individuals unemployed and hopeless. This practical manifestation of love represents the true gospel that brings joy to God.

Furthermore, to foster self-reliance, His Royal Majesty established the largest multi-skills acquisition center in the region, where more than 26 distinct vocational and technical skills are taught entirely free of charge. Over the past 16 years, this massive empowerment hub has trained and graduated over 40,000 Nigerians, many of whom have transitioned from unemployed citizens into successful entrepreneurs and employers of labor. Apostle Chinyere firmly believes that believers should acquire practical skills that improve their earthly lives while they dedicate themselves to spiritual service.

Addressing the critical issue of homelessness, the man of God has utilized church tithes and offerings to construct 19 free housing estates for the less privileged across Nigeria. This unprecedented institutional feat is entirely unmatched in the nation’s history. He recognized that when individuals are homeless and lack a secure place to lay their heads, it becomes nearly impossible for them to find the psychological peace required to worship effectively.

A recent, prominent example of this benevolence occurred when Nigerian returnees fleeing xenophobic violence in South Africa were completely stranded. Apostle Chinyere immediately intervened, housing and feeding all the returnees within one of his state-of-the-art free estates in Port Harcourt. Through housing, health, education, and employment, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere continues to show that true ministry extends far beyond the pulpit.
