“We Did It, Uncle Ademola” — Davido Celebrates as Adeleke Wins Osun Governorship Election

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has celebrated the victory of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

Adeleke, who contested the election on the platform of the Accord Party, secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
