B-Red Says Adeleke Family Does Not Need Politics for Money, Reveals Why He Does Not Want His Father to Become President

Singer B-Red, son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has claimed that his family is not involved in politics for financial gain, insisting that they already have generational wealth.

Speaking during an interview on the Echo Room podcast, B-Red said his father and other members of the Adeleke family entered politics primarily to help people rather than make money.

“We don’t need politics for money; we have been rich for a long time. My family is only in politics to help,” he said.

The singer also expressed confidence that Nigeria would experience significant improvement if his father eventually became President of the country.

“If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically,” B-Red said.

However, despite his confidence in his father’s ability to lead the country, B-Red admitted that he would not want him to pursue the presidency because of the pressure that comes with the position.

“But I don’t want my dad to be President because the pressure will be too much,” he added.

The Adeleke family has maintained a strong presence in Nigerian politics, with the late Isiaka Adeleke and his younger brother, Ademola Adeleke, both serving as Osun State governors.

Other members of the family have also been involved in politics and public affairs, while Davido, one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars and a nephew of Governor Adeleke, has openly supported his uncle’s political activities.
