Veteran actor Yinka Quadri has opened up about his final moments with his longtime friend and colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, revealing the emotional words the late actor shared with him at the hospital shortly before his death.
Quadri, who described Ogogo as his “twin brother from heaven”, recalled breaking down in tears when he visited him during his final hours.
According to him, Ogogo noticed his tears and tried to reassure him that nothing bad would happen.
“Yinka, don’t cry. Nothing bad will happen to me,” Ogogo reportedly told him.
Quadri said the moment gave him renewed hope, particularly after Ogogo was able to drink water and eat despite his condition.
He recalled that Ogogo even asked the doctors to confirm whether he had eaten earlier that morning, and their confirmation further strengthened Quadri’s faith that his friend would recover.
However, the doctors reportedly advised the family and loved ones to remain prayerful.
