Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Peter Psquare, has declared that he is ready to face criticism and backlash as he prepares to speak more openly about insecurity and governance issues in Nigeria.
The singer made the statement in a post shared on social media, where he expressed frustration over the country’s security challenges and what he described as poor governance.
According to Peter, he is no longer concerned about attempts to silence or “cancel” him for speaking his mind on national issues.
“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready. If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me too, I done fall out,” he wrote.
The singer joins a growing list of Nigerian entertainers who have publicly voiced concerns about the state of the nation and called for improvements in governance and public safety.
