Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has stirred fresh reactions online after speaking out against the growing “Tinubu Must Go” protest movement.

In a four minute video posted yesterday, 9th April, 2026 by her, the actress, often known for her outspoken views, questioned not just the protest itself, but the credibility of those leading it.

According to her, the presence of prominent opposition figures such as Dino Melaye, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso at the protest in Abuja raises serious questions about its true intention.

She argued that these are individuals who have held positions of power at different times, and therefore should be held accountable for their own contributions, or lack thereof, before championing calls to unseat a sitting president. In her words, their involvement is a red flag.

Taking it a step further, Doris cautioned Nigerian youths against joining the protest, claiming it is less about national interest and more about political ambition. She described it as a sponsored movement driven by those currently out of power, rather than a genuine push for change.

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions. While some agree with her stance on political accountability, others argue that her position dismisses the frustrations of everyday Nigerians.
