Nigerian comedian and reality TV personality Deeone has weighed in on conversations surrounding the 2027 presidential election, urging critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to focus on voter participation rather than emotional appeals.

In a video that has since sparked reactions online, Deeone argued that political change can only be achieved through the ballot box and not through what he described as “emotional blackmail” on social media.

Addressing Nigerians opposed to Tinubu’s administration, the comedian advised them to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the electoral process if they hope to influence the outcome of the next election.

“Emotional blackmail will not work. Go and get your PVC and vote,” he said.
According to him, many citizens spend time expressing frustration online but fail to take practical political action when election season arrives.

His remarks come amid growing political discussions and early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections, with supporters and critics of the current administration increasingly debating the country’s direction.
