Popular skit maker and content creator Layi Wasabi has shared his thoughts on the ongoing conversation surrounding the failed marriage of Roby Ekpo and Mayowa Lambe.
Reacting after watching the viral interview and reading through public reactions, Layi took a different angle from the usual online noise.
He called out men who mocked Roby for being emotional, stressing that vulnerability should not be weaponised against anyone, especially in moments of pain. For him, expressing emotions, even through tears, is not weakness, but honesty.
Beyond that, he touched on something deeper. According to Layi, love alone is not always enough to sustain a relationship. He emphasised the importance of kindness, noting that in difficult moments, it is kindness that holds people together until love finds its way back.
However, in true Layi Wasabi fashion, he ended on a lighter, humorous note.
He joked that if he ever found himself in a similar situation, he would not stop at just one interview. Instead, he would go all out, grant multiple interviews, embark on a media tour, and even write a book titled “Where Did I Go Wrong?”
