In a lengthy caption, Uche Elendu laid bare the urgency of the situation, calling on colleagues, NGOs, philanthropists, government officials, and even the Kogi State Government to intervene. “I cannot do it alone,” she wrote, a line that carried more weight than any scripted dialogue. She urged Nigerians not to abandon Halima to her fate, appealing for prayers, reposts and immediate financial support, stressing that the surgery required is urgent.
She also took a moment to acknowledge those who have already reached out, thanking colleagues and well-meaning Nigerians who have offered financial assistance. Gratitude, even in crisis, still found space.
