Nigerian streamer Peller has hit back at Carter Efe following comments linking internet pressure to his decision to marry Jarvis, accusing the skitmaker and streamer of being manipulative and fuelling competition among Nigerian streamers.

Peller claimed Carter Efe started the culture of rivalry among streamers and would allegedly bring his name into conversations whenever he felt another streamer was gaining an advantage.

“He is very manipulative. He is the one that started the whole competition between streamers in Nigeria,” Peller said.

He also recalled Carter Efe’s alleged rivalry with Sydney Talker, claiming Carter would sometimes compare their online views and express concern when Sydney was gaining attention.

Peller further alleged that Carter discouraged him from applying for the first edition of Streamers University when his own viewership was relatively low, but later applied himself after gaining more views.

According to Peller, Carter also spoke negatively about the programme and fellow streamer Shanks.

While criticising Carter’s alleged behaviour, Peller acknowledged his talent and charisma but argued that character should matter more.

“I won’t lie, he is talented and has vibes, but if you have bad behaviour more than good character, it’s not good,” he added.
