Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has spoken in support of cosmetic surgery, describing liposuction and tummy tuck procedures as relatively safe while highlighting what she believes are their benefits for women.

Speaking on the Awesome Family Podcast, Ogbodo compared cosmetic procedures with Caesarean sections, arguing that plastic surgery is often perceived as more dangerous than it actually is.

“Liposuction is not the riskiest surgery, it is actually a safe simple surgery. Tummy tuck is safer than a Caesarian section to me,” she said.

The actress explained that her views were influenced by her experience and knowledge of cosmetic procedures, which she said led her to become an advocate for plastic surgery.

“I became a full advocate for it. I am now a consultant for plastic surgery in Nigeria,” Ogbodo said.

She also claimed that cosmetic surgery can have positive effects on women’s sexual confidence and libido, particularly after procedures that alter the body.

According to her, some women may experience changes in sexual sensation and arousal following surgery.

“I now know that plastic surgery returns a woman’s libido to 100%,” she claimed.

Ogbodo further described the procedures as having several benefits for women, saying, “It comes with a lot of advantages because it is a miracle in a package.”
