Nigeria’s women under 17 national football team, Flamingos will tackle Future Stars ’99 Soccer Academy at the Remo Stars Sports Complex on Saturday in one of the tune-up matche lined up for the team.
It will be the Flamingos’ third friendly since they set up camp in Ikenne for their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final round qualifying tie against the Young Amazons of Benin Republic.
Recall that they defeated Dream Star Ladies 3-0 in the first friendly.
Coach Akeem Busari’s side thrashed Royaltoms Queens 11-0 in their second test game on Tuesday.
The Flamingos will host Benin Republic in the first leg of the qualifiers in Ikenne on Saturday, July 4, while the second leg will hold in Lome one week later.
