Senior pastor and founder of Celebration Church International, Emmanuel Iren, has expressed appreciation for members of the Nigerian military following a courtesy visit to security personnel in Lagos State.
Sharing reflections from the visit, the cleric commended the dedication and patriotism of the officers, describing them as good men with a genuine commitment to the progress and stability of the nation.
According to Iren, the interaction gave him an opportunity to better understand the passion and sacrifices of those working to protect the country.
“Courtesy visit to the military watchmen of Lagos yesterday. I felt their heart for the nation. Good men,” he said.
The pastor emphasized the need for both prayer and practical action in addressing Nigeria’s challenges, stressing that national transformation requires collective effort from citizens, faith leaders and institutions.
“In prayer we will pray. In action we will act. Nigeria must work,” he added.
Iren also revealed that the Youth Wing of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) would soon be calling for volunteers to participate in an initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals across the country.
While withholding details of the project, he encouraged Nigerians to respond positively when the call for participation is announced.
“The PFN Youth Wing will be asking for volunteers to help us execute an idea that will go a long way to help vulnerable people. When we call you, please answer,” he stated.
His remarks have drawn positive reactions online, with many Nigerians praising the gesture of engagement with security personnel and welcoming plans for increased humanitarian support through faith based initiatives.
