Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has revealed that he will never publicly speak negatively about his ex wife, May Edochie, despite the controversies and emotional drama surrounding their separation.
Speaking during an interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the actor stated that he does not believe in bringing private marital issues to social media or using public platforms to attack an ex partner.
According to Yul Edochie, certain matters are better left unsaid, stressing that as a man, he cannot sit in front of a camera to “finish” his former wife publicly.
“I’m a man, come on. I can’t sit in front of a camera and begin to talk about my ex wife. No be so. I wish her well, trust me. I wish her the very best. I want her to be fine,” he said emotionally.
The actor further noted that nobody is perfect and there is no need constantly revisiting past issues online. He added that although women may sometimes choose to speak publicly about relationship matters, he personally prefers silence and peace.
Yul also disclosed that despite everything that happened between them, he and May Edochie are currently on good terms.
