Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has declared that he will not overlook conduct that contradicts his principles, as he publicly called out United Nigeria Airlines over alleged passenger mistreatment.
In an introduction to his Instagram Live session, the outspoken artiste stressed the need to speak up about what he described as recurring grievances faced by travellers.
He recounted his experience on a trip from Abuja on Saturday, May 2, noting that the situation reflected a broader pattern passengers often endure.
According to him, he encountered a passenger who shared her ordeal with the airline, alleging that a scheduled 10 a.m. flight was delayed for hours before eventually being cancelled around 6 p.m.
The incident, he suggested, raises fresh concerns about service delivery in the country’s aviation space, an industry where delays have become so routine, they now arrive almost as scheduled as the flights themselves.
