Following the emotional revelations by Roby Ekpo about his failed marriage, the long awaited response from his ex wife, Mayowa Lambe Ekpo, has finally arrived, and it comes with legal weight.
In a statement released earlier today, Mayowa issued a formal notice addressing what she described as false allegations and defamatory claims made against her character.
Rather than a tell all or emotional rebuttal, her response took a different route.
Legal action. According to the notice, Roby has been instructed to cease further media appearances and interviews where, according to her, unverified and damaging statements about their marriage have been shared. In addition, he is being asked to pay ₦100 million in damages for defamation.
