Governor Nasir Idris has vowed to deliver Kebbi State to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Idris made the declaration on Monday while speaking with journalists after a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Birnin Kebbi.

Describing the meeting as productive, the governor said party leaders had deliberated on key issues affecting the APC in the state and reached resolutions aimed at strengthening its position ahead of future elections.

“This is a stakeholders’ meeting; we have met and discussed issues that directly affect our party,” he said. “We have resolved that we will make our resolution available through the Commissioner for Information.”

He expressed confidence in the party’s dominance in the state, insisting that the APC remains firmly rooted in Kebbi.

“By God’s grace, APC has come to stay in Kebbi. The people of Kebbi believe in APC, and In-Sha-Allah, they will deliver APC at both state and national levels,” he added.

The meeting was attended by top party figures, including Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Yusuf Tanko-Sununu; former governor Adamu Aliero; Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi; APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu; and Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, among others.
