Amina Isyaku Ibrahim has launched the Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim Foundation (AiIF), an initiative focused on education and community development in Mangar community, Nasarawa State.
She said that the foundation intends to expand its scope in future to cover other key areas to tackle emerging life challenges.
Speaking during the launch, Amina said, besides the foundation serving as a honour to the life and legacy of her late father Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim, a respected nation builder, business tycoon and politician, who died this year, it will also provide a veritable platform to assist indigenous youths of Mangar community in Nasarawa State to further their education and improve their businesses.
She said: “As his daughter, I feel a deep responsibility to continue his legacy of service and belief in the power of education.
“This is a living mission to empower others—starting in the very place where my father’s journey began.
“The Foundation’s inaugural initiative is a scholarship programme for two aspiring students- one female and one male- from Mangar community, each will receive N250,000 per academic year to pursue a full undergraduate degree (up to 5 years) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
“This isn’t just about funding education, it’s about creating a cycle of advancement, empowerment – where knowledge returns home and builds the future.”
In return, each of the foundation award beneficiary pledged to give back after graduation, helping to build the future where their story begun.
