Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shared a cryptic message about alleged plots against her, insisting that she remains firmly grounded despite what she described as “crooked plans” by her detractors.
In a post shared on social media, the actress said she was aware of what she described as attempts to work against her, adding that she would continue to speak out regardless of the situation.
“My detractors are plotting. I’m solidly on ground. Our eyes are seeing the crooked plans and camouflaged visits. Our ears are hearing the silent whisperings,” she wrote.
Iyabo Ojo further maintained that she would not be silenced, saying she would continue to speak on issues affecting society.
“And likewise, our lips won’t cease to speak to the consciousness of society. Irrespective of how far falsehood may travel, the truth shall catch up with it one day. The truth shall emerge in earnest,” she added.
Her post comes shortly after social media activist VeryDarkMan reignited discussions surrounding the death of singer Mohbad.
In a recent video, VeryDarkMan called out Iyabo Ojo, Mohbad’s widow Wunmi Aloba and others who had publicly advocated for justice following the singer’s death.
He also warned them to prepare for what he described as a fresh investigation into Mohbad’s death, saying he intends to revisit the circumstances surrounding the case.
Although Iyabo Ojo did not mention VeryDarkMan or Mohbad directly in her post, the timing of her message has prompted speculation that it was connected to the renewed controversy.
The development has once again brought the public spotlight back to the unresolved questions and competing claims surrounding Mohbad’s death.
