The Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned social media influencer Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, over an alleged N69.15 million fraud.

The influencer was brought before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 and faced a two count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing.

According to the EFCC, the charges stem from allegations that Blessing CEO fraudulently obtained N69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited through false representations relating to a property transaction.

At the commencement of proceedings, prosecution counsel C.C. Okezie urged the court to proceed with the arraignment, stating that the defendant had been properly served with the charge.

Defence counsel Nkama Nneka, however, informed the court that service of the charge had only recently been effected.

In his ruling, Justice Oshodi held that the arraignment should proceed in line with legal requirements, after which the charges were read to the defendant.

According to the first count, the EFCC alleged that on or about March 21, 2025, Blessing CEO represented to Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited that a property located at No. 1 Tunbosun Osobu Street, Lekki, Lagos, belonged to her and was available for lease for a period of five years.

The commission further alleged that the representation was false and was made with the intent to induce the company to part with N69.15 million.

The alleged offence is said to contravene provisions of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act.
The case forms part of the EFCC’s ongoing efforts to prosecute alleged financial crimes and fraud related offences across the country.
