“More Than a Year After Our Separation, You Still Can’t Get a Proper House and Car” — MC Fish Fires Back at Anita Joseph

MC Fish has responded to claims surrounding his estranged marriage to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, disputing the narrative that she supported him financially and bankrolled their lifestyle during their relationship.

In a lengthy statement, MC Fish said the couple had been separated for more than a year and accused his estranged wife of portraying herself as the sole provider in their relationship.

He claimed that much of their lifestyle was funded with his earnings and loans, arguing that the financial situation was different from the picture presented publicly.

“This has been over a year since my separation. You claimed that you fed me when all we did was use my hard-earned money and take loans to add to that just to keep up a fake lifestyle,” he said.

MC Fish also disputed claims about trips they took together, alleging that he personally paid for tickets and other expenses.

“You claimed to have taken me on trips that I clearly bought tickets for and used my money to fund the trip,” he said.

He specifically referenced a trip to Dubai, claiming that his connections helped them avoid spending money on food during their month-long stay.

“That same Dubai trip, it was because of me we never paid a dime for food throughout the one month we stayed,” he added.

The media personality further accused Anita of spreading negative narratives about people close to her while presenting herself publicly as morally superior.

He recalled an incident involving a philanthropist who wanted to buy a car for one of her close friends, claiming that Anita attempted to influence the choice of vehicle because she considered the selected SUV too large.

“All because of ego,” he said.

MC Fish also addressed the house they previously rented in Chevron, claiming that the property was rented in his name and that he contributed significantly towards maintaining it.

“The house in Chevron that we rented in my name and worked so hard to maintain, you couldn’t even hold it down which led to them booting you out of the house,” he claimed.

He further alleged that Anita’s current automobile deal came through one of his personal connections, saying the car dealer was his longtime friend whom he had introduced to her.

“Your current auto deal that you have was through my connection. The car dealer has always been a friend which I introduced to you and things started working,” he said.

MC Fish ended his statement by saying he was grateful to have moved on from what he described as a relationship marked by pressure to maintain a particular public image.

“I thank God to have been freed from all this. The need to desperately appear cool when it’s obvious you need serious help. Ego and pride is a very bad thing,” he added.
