11 Persons Escape Death as Flybird Aviation Jet Crash-lands in Kano

Flybird Aircraft Management Services Ltd. has confirmed that all passengers and crew aboard aircraft 5N-ISB from Abuja to Kano were safe after an unusual landing yesterday morning.
The confirmation is contained in a statement signed by Flybird’s Corporate Communications team in Lagos.
The company said the flight crew followed all established operational and safety procedures, bringing the aircraft to a safe stop.
According to the statement, all 11 passengers and three crew members disembarked safely, with no injuries recorded.
“The aircraft has been secured, and the incident has been formally reported to the relevant aviation authorities,” the statement read in part.
It added that “a detailed technical inspection and investigation are ongoing in line with regulatory requirements.
“Flybird Aircraft Management Services reiterates its commitment to safety and operational excellence,” the statement said, pledging full cooperation with investigators.
The management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) was yet to release an official statement on the incident as a the time of filing this report. Unofficial sources disclosed that the passengers have been taken to an unknown destination.
