Former Minister of Women Affairs, Hon. Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, has disclosed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will overwhelmingly win the upcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State for the people to benefit from the dividends of democracy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She stated this in Abuja, ahead of today’s campaign rally at the CJ Paterson Auditorium, All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha.
According to the immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, “I am calling on my people to come out and welcome the inauguration campaign team and flag-off of APC national election management council for Anambra State gubernatorial election in Onitsha.
“The campaign is scheduled to officially present the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Hon. Nicholas Ukachukwu to the people of the state.
“As a member of the Women Mobilization Committee of the National Election Management Council for Anambra State Gubernatorial election, I call on women to fully vote for the APC.
Hon. Uju Ohanenye commended the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda for his proactive approach to win the election in Anambra State.
She commended all those supporting APC to have more governors amongst other from other political parties join the APC.
She also called on the people of Anambra to vote for the APC candidates in the state House of Assembly for the smooth running of the state towards growth and development.
