“I’ve Never Seen a Country with a Higher Rate of Dull Citizens Like Nigeria” — Charlyboy Criticises Living Conditions

Veteran Nigerian entertainer and human rights activist Charlyboy has criticised Nigeria’s deteriorating infrastructure, rising cost of living and poor public services.

In a video shared online, Charlyboy expressed frustration over how Nigerians have seemingly become accustomed to inadequate public services, describing good roads as a luxury and reliable electricity as a privilege reserved for the wealthy.

“A country where good roads are treated as luxury, where people with steady electricity are classified as the rich. A country where the price of goods can jump from 10k to 100k overnight with no questions asked and you call that a country?” he said.

The entertainer also questioned the lack of accountability surrounding the rising prices of goods, asking how the cost of an item could increase from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000 without public scrutiny.
