Tinubu Support Group Hails 2027 Presidential Campaign Council Membership

The Renewed Hope Global has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leadership for assembling a Presidential Campaign Council structure for the 2027 general elections with representation across key political areas.
The ‌‍⁠‍⁠⁠‌‌⁠‌⁠⁠⁠‌group’s Senior Special Assistant on Publicity, Mr Victor Okebunmi, gave the commendation in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.
While congratulating members of the council, Okebunmi described their appointments as a recognition of their experience, commitment, loyalty and capacity to contribute to the re-election campaign of President Bola Tinubu.
The Renewed Hope Global is an APC online platform that showcases the achievements of Tinubu’s administration, counters misinformation and engages citizens and those in the diaspora.
The APC 2027 presidential campaign council is chaired by President Tinubu, with Vice- President Kashim Shettima and the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, as Vice Chairmen.
The council also boasts of senior political leaders, governors, lawmakers, professionals and experienced party members saddled with the responsibility of coordinating the APC’s campaign for the 2027 presidential election.
Okebunmi particularly congratulated Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, the council’s Director-General, Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo, the secretary, and Chief Babatunde Ogala, the Deputy Director, Legal Directorate.
He equally congratulated Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, on his appointment as Secretary, Sports Sector Mobilisation and Prince Ade Omole as Deputy Director, Diaspora Mobilisation.
He described Omole’s appointment as a recognition of his long-standing contribution to diaspora engagement and mobilisation for APC and the president.
He recalled that Omole had previously played a prominent role in diaspora mobilisation for Tinubu and served as Director of the Diaspora Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 presidential election campaign.
The statement also quoted Joseph Adebola, Global Chairman of Renewed Hope Global, as saying that the calibre of individuals selected for the campaign structure reflected the importance of experience, commitment and organisational capacity in the task ahead.
“Each of these distinguished Nigerians brings valuable experience and a record of service to this important assignment.
“We are confident that their collective strength will contribute significantly to effective mobilisation and the communication of the Renewed Hope message across Nigeria and the diaspora,” he said.
Adebola wished members of the campaign council success, as they take on their respective responsibilities and work toward victory for APC in the 2027 presidential election.
Dr Chris Onumonu, Deputy Chairman of the platform’s United Kingdom chapter, described the campaign council as a broad team capable of combining political experience, grassroots mobilisation and diaspora engagement.
Onumonu said the 2027 campaign provides an opportunity to communicate the achievements, policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration directly to Nigerians at home and abroad.
He particularly commended those assigned to diaspora mobilisation, noting that Nigerians abroad remained an important part of Nigeria’s development and political engagement.
He expressed confidence that the campaign structure would provide an effective platform for engaging Nigerians across different constituencies and communicating the achievements and programmes of the Renewed Hope administration.
