Nigerian interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has addressed some of the controversies surrounding her personal life, including her relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, accusations of snatching people’s husbands and claims that she uses juju.
Speaking during a candid interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ehi reflected on her romantic history and the public scrutiny she has faced over the years.
The interior designer described MC Oluomo as one of her closest friends and acknowledged that they had been romantically involved while he was married.
“MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. That is the only man that I can say I dated as a married man,” she said.
Ehi, however, rejected claims that she deliberately pursued or broke up other people’s marriages, pointing to MC Oluomo’s religion and the fact that he is a Muslim.
“But he is Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims. I do not snatch people’s husbands,” she said.
She challenged women who believe she interfered in their marriages to publicly come forward with their accounts.
“I am still waiting for the wives to come out and tell me how I snatched,” she added.
Ehi also spoke candidly about her own experiences with marriage, revealing that she has gone through two failed marriages despite her beauty, financial success and public profile.
“I have had two failed marriages. With my beauty and money, I still had failed marriages,” she said.
Her comments come amid years of public interest in her relationships and personal life, with the designer using the interview to address some of the narratives that have followed her.
