Pastor Jerry Eze has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Heirs Life Assurance, effective Monday, August 10, 2026.
The appointment was announced by the insurance company, which described the cleric as a respected leader with a strong record in community engagement, philanthropy and development communications.
According to Heirs Life Assurance, Jerry Eze’s experience and perspective will contribute to the company’s efforts to strengthen corporate governance, promote financial inclusion and expand access to insurance across Nigeria.
The company said his appointment comes as it continues to focus on making insurance more accessible, relevant and impactful to Nigerians.
Jerry Eze is widely known for his leadership of Streams of Joy International and his involvement in humanitarian and community focused initiatives.
He is expected to bring his experience in leadership, communication and community engagement to the board as the company continues to pursue its strategic objectives.
