Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has claimed that music promoter Sam Larry is in critical condition following an alleged road accident, alleging that doctors are considering amputating both of his legs to save his life.
Speaking in a video shared online, Olunloyo said the information was provided by what she described as “a very good source” and “a trusted source.”
According to her, “Sam Larry is in a very critical condition and he may have to be amputated, both, both legs.”
She said the update was relayed to her on July 4, adding that doctors were reportedly considering a double amputation because, according to her, “sometimes you have to amputate legs just to save somebody’s life.”
Reflecting on the reported development, Olunloyo referenced the late singer MohBad, saying, “The only thing I remember is MohBad sitting there on that wheelchair being attacked, and I just said to myself, ‘Oh my God, Sam Larry will have to sit on that wheelchair for the rest of his life if they have to do that.'”
She added that she had not received confirmation that any amputation had been carried out.
“I don’t know if he was amputated, but I messaged my source and he hasn’t replied me,” she said.
Olunloyo further alleged that Sam Larry sustained severe head injuries and a broken neck in the reported accident. She also claimed he was the sole survivor of the crash, alleging that the other occupants of the vehicle lost their lives.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation from Sam Larry, his representatives, medical authorities, or law enforcement agencies regarding the alleged accident or the claims about his condition.
The claims therefore remain unverified pending confirmation from official sources.
