Chairman of the Delta State Athletics Association and Chief Executive Officer of Dynamics Icon, Chief Malik Itiako Ikpokpo, has praised Blessing Ogundiran following her impressive victory in the women’s 100 metres at the ongoing All Nigeria Trials for the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Speaking with journalists after the race on Saturday, Ikpokpo described Ogundiran’s triumph as a reflection of determination, focus, and unwavering ambition, noting that her journey remains an inspiration to young athletes across the country.
The sports technocrat commended the former Delta State athlete, who has since relocated to the United States, for her discipline and commitment to excellence.
He also announced a cash incentive for the newly crowned Nigerian women’s 100m champion as a reward for her achievement and motivation for future success.
