Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has responded humorously to ongoing discussions about his grey hair, jokingly attributing it to a famous fictional bloodline.
In a video shared online, the music star revealed that a recent encounter at the airport prompted him to address the speculation surrounding his appearance.
According to Mr Eazi, a fan approached him to ask about his hair after seeing widespread debates online over whether the greying was caused by genetics, stress, or hair dye.
“Yesterday, someone came to me at the airport and asked me about my hair. They’ve been debating about my hair. Is it genetics, is it dye, or is it stress?” he said.
The singer then playfully offered his own explanation.
“I think I should just let you guys know the real truth behind my hair. I am happy to let you guys know that I am a Targaryen. I have been keeping that from you guys,” he joked.
Mr Eazi’s comment references the Targaryens, a fictional royal family from the popular television series *Game of Thrones* and *House of the Dragon*, known for their distinctive silver hair and association with dragons.
The lighthearted remark quickly drew reactions from fans, many of whom praised the singer’s sense of humour while continuing to speculate about the real reason behind his grey hair.
