The Labour Party has congratulated Alex Otti on his third anniversary in office, describing him as the finest product of the party’s performance in the 2023 general elections and one of the most impactful leaders in the country today.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Eluma Asogwa, the Labour Party praised Otti for what it called his outstanding achievements and transformative governance in Abia State over the past three years.
The party said Governor Otti had continued to demonstrate that the Labour Party governs differently, noting that his administration’s performance had earned widespread recognition from rating organisations across Nigeria.
According to the statement, Otti’s achievements have firmly established him as Nigeria’s best-performing governor, a development the party said fills it with pride.
“As a party, we are proud that the nation’s most impactful governor today is a product of the Labour Party,” the statement said.
The party expressed confidence that the people of Abia State would reward the governor’s leadership and reforms with renewed support in the 2027 general elections.
It also commended Otti for remaining focused and committed to governance despite what it described as distractions and opposition from forces that allegedly held the state hostage for more than two decades before his emergence.
The Labour Party congratulated the governor on the milestone and wished him greater success in his continued service to the people of Abia State.
