The latest ₦3 billion innovation hub agreement between Moniepoint and three Nigerian universities has once again placed the company’s CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda, in the spotlight months after he faced intense online criticism over comments made during the Platform event held on May 1.
The fintech entrepreneur had previously gone viral following reactions to his speech at the event, where several social media users debated his views and leadership style online.
Despite the earlier controversy, Tosin Eniolorunda has now returned to public attention after personally signing a reported ₦3 billion agreement to establish Moniepoint Innovation Hubs across Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Ahmadu Bello University.
The Moniepoint CEO was physically present on the OAU campus, his alma mater, during the signing ceremony, a moment many online described as symbolic and inspiring.
