Nigerian actor and reality TV star Teddy A has sparked heated reactions online following his comments about relationships, ambitious women and submission in marriage.
Speaking during a discussion on the Echo Room Podcast, Teddy A stated that he has no interest in having a stay-at-home wife, explaining that he prefers ambitious women and believes relationships should be built on teamwork and shared financial growth.
“I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman. I don’t want a stay-at-home wife. We both got to get it,” he said.
However, the conversation became tense after Teddy A added that issues often begin when a woman is “not submissive,” a statement that immediately triggered disagreement from some women present during the discussion.
As the debate continued, one of the women referenced biblical teachings about husbands loving their wives sacrificially. In response, Teddy A sarcastically questioned whether a woman would still remarry after a man had supposedly “died” for her.
