Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has sparked reactions online after issuing a humorous but blunt warning to people who share private messages and DMs after someone’s death.
In a viral statement circulating online, the actress criticised the growing habit of posting old chats, screenshots and personal conversations once a celebrity or public figure passes away.
“All those that post people’s DM after they kp@!, if you post my Dm, I’ll wake up, I’ll sl+p you and I’ll go back to the gr@ve,” she joked.
Etinosa also addressed movie producers she previously reached out to for acting opportunities but allegedly never got responses from.
According to her, such producers should not suddenly begin posting her old messages or claiming she once begged to be cast in films after her death.
Her comments have since triggered conversations online, with many social media users debating privacy, clout chasing and the trend of sharing personal messages after celebrities pass away.
