American rapper Rick Ross has stirred heavy debate online after comments credited to him about relationships between wealthy men and career driven women.
According to Ross, relationships with affluent men may require women to make certain sacrifices and become more available to their partners, even during demanding moments in their careers.
In his words:“As a wealthy man, we have to meet somewhere on even ground. Yes, you got your career as a woman and that’s cool, but I most likely be needing you in your inconvenient times in your life.”
He went further to say: “So when you tell me you are a nurse, surgeon and say ‘oh I have a surgery tomorrow,’ f¥ck that surgery, the n+gga can wait because I need you that moment.”
Ross also hinted that in some relationships involving wealthy men, career ambition may eventually take a backseat to the relationship itself, a statement that has since triggered mixed reactions across social media.
