Longtime driver to Afrobeats superstar Davido, Mr Solo, has sparked conversations online after opening up about his deep loyalty and admiration for the singer during a recent interview.
Reacting to the criticism often directed at Davido on social media, Mr Solo insisted that the reality offline is completely different, claiming the singer receives massive love everywhere he goes.
“Even the hate, they can’t say it in our faces. Everywhere they claim they hate us, when we get there, it’s love,” he said.
The conversation became more emotional when he described how far he would go for the singer.
“I could take a sh+t for him, I go collect am for Baddest. That’s the kind of love I have.”
Mr Solo further explained that his trust in Davido’s generosity and character gives him confidence that his family would never suffer, even if anything happened to him.
“I know say even if anything happens, my kids go enjoy. No worry,” he added.
