The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has paid the Super Eagles their share of the prize money they won at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
The Super Eagles finished third best at the AFCON in Morocco after they edged past Egypt on penalties in the losers final.
The NFF agreed to pay the team 30% of the AFCON prize money, which in the case of Nigeria is $2.5 million as they reached the semifinals with the overall winners pocketing a record $10 million.
An online medium reports that each player to the tournament received $15,000 as their share of this money.
“The team have received their agreed share of the prize money,” a top official informed SCORENigeria.
