Nollywood actress and fashion entrepreneur Uche Ogbodo has once again left Nigerians scratching their heads, this time over her seemingly mixed messages on faith and spirituality.
Only a few weeks ago, the actress publicly celebrated her attendance at the NSPPD conference hosted by Jerry Eze in Lagos, sharing clips and messages that reflected strong Christian devotion. It appeared, at the time, that her spiritual direction was clear.
Fast forward to 18 March 2026, and the narrative seems to have taken an unexpected turn. Taking to her Instagram page, Uche promoted the use of spiritual products for ritual purposes. In her bid to sell a spiritual products brand, she maintained that Christianity remains valid, yet suggested that certain rituals are necessary for human advancement. According to her, such practices can enhance wealth and improve various aspects of life.
The internet, never short of opinions, has been quick to react. Many Nigerians expressed confusion, while others questioned how both beliefs comfortably exist side by side.
