A top Presidential Official has confirmed to KTH Daily that AIG Tunji Disu has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police, following the retirement of now ex- IGP, Olukayode Egbetokun.
It is currently unclear which of the DIGs and AIGs senior to the new IGP will stay or retire with Egbetokun.
