President Bola Tinubu over the weekend received several high-profile visitors at his Lagos residence, including former Delta State Governor, James Onanefe Ibori.
Also among those who paid a courtesy visit to the president were the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, as well as billionaire industrialist Razak Okoya, accompanied by his wife, Shade Okoya, and their son. The visits coincided with Tinubu’s stay in Lagos for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Since arriving in Lagos on May 27, President Tinubu has participated in several key engagements, including the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the commissioning of various development projects.
He is expected to return to the Federal Capital Territory after the Eid festivities.
In his Eid message, the president urged Nigerians to offer prayers for the nation’s continued peace and stability. He emphasized the importance of collective purpose in fostering unity and progress.
Tinubu also acknowledged the sacrifices Nigerians have made over the past year as his administration works to place the country on a stable path of growth and development. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring the physical, social, and economic security of all citizens.
