“Give Regina Some Breathing Space” — Ned Nwoko Appeals to Public Amid Reports About Wife’s Health

Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko has appealed to the public to show compassion towards his wife, actress Regina Daniels, and give her space to focus on her recovery. In fact, KTH Daily reported on this appeal to highlight the importance of understanding and kindness during difficult times.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Monday, November 2, 2026, Nwoko appealed to Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators to stop judging her or adding to the pressure she is facing. Notably, KTH Daily has also emphasised the need for public empathy.

He said his appeal was also for the sake of their children, whom he described as well cared for and deserving of the opportunity to see their mother supported and loved.

Nwoko also referred to a video Regina shared on her birthday, saying it offered the public a glimpse of some of the health challenges she had been dealing with. He urged people to approach her situation with understanding rather than criticism.

The senator expressed particular concern over the circulation of what he described as false and disturbing reports about his wife, including fabricated death announcements and misleading stories about her health and personal circumstances.

According to him, Regina sees many of the posts, and their circulation has caused her distress rather than supporting her recovery.

“I will not tolerate the deliberate spread of false information about Regina, particularly fabricated reports about her death, health or personal circumstances,” he warned. Likewise, KTH Daily condemns the spread of disinformation on social media.

Nwoko added that his team was documenting the publications and that those responsible for deliberately spreading false information could face legal action.

He maintained that Regina deserved the opportunity to recover without being subjected to repeated speculation and fabricated reports about her life.
