The All Progressives Congress, APC, has unveiled a nationwide campaign timetable that will take President Bola Tinubu’s re-election drive across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, beginning with a formal flag-off in Kaduna on October 24, 2026.

The campaign, scheduled to run for more than two months, will culminate in a major closing rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027, ahead of the January 16 presidential election.

Tinubu is expected to attend the Kaduna flag-off, formally launching the ruling party’s nationwide mobilisation for a second term.

The President is also scheduled to make appearances at selected major rallies during the campaign as the APC Presidential Campaign Council and party leaders take the re-election message across the country.

Following the Kaduna launch, the campaign will move into a packed November schedule beginning with Calabar on November 2 and Gombe on November 3.

Other November stops include Ado-Ekiti on November 5, Port Harcourt on November 7, Abakaliki on November 9, Akure on November 11, Benin City on November 12 and Jos on November 14.

The campaign train will thereafter move to Damaturu on November 16, Birnin Kebbi on November 17, Uyo on November 18, Awka on November 19 and Ibadan on November 21.

Maiduguri will host the campaign on November 25, followed by Enugu on November 28, Bauchi on November 29 and Makurdi on November 30.

The December leg begins in Katsina on December 2, before moving through other states across the geopolitical zones.

Abeokuta is scheduled for December 3, Sokoto for December 5, Umuahia for December 7, Lokoja for December 8, and Osogbo for December 9.

Ilorin is scheduled for December 10, while the campaign will move to Asaba on December 12, Gusau on December 14, Yenagoa on December 15, Minna on December 16, and Kano on December 17.

Jalingo will host the campaign on December 19, while the Federal Capital Territory takes its turn in Abuja on December 21.

The campaign resumes after Christmas with Owerri on December 30, before moving into its final stretch in January.

Yola, Adamawa State, is scheduled to host a major rally on January 4, before the nationwide campaign reaches its climax with the grand finale in Lagos on January 9.

The campaign timetable comes after Tinubu formally inaugurated the APC Presidential Campaign Council, setting the stage for full-scale electioneering by the ruling party.

Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, had earlier confirmed Kaduna as the starting point of the campaign, saying the party intended to take its message to every state and the FCT.

The nationwide tour is expected to provide the APC with a platform to present the Tinubu administration’s record and its programme for a second term as the race for the 2027 presidency enters the intensive campaign phase.
