Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, has explained her position on associating with politicians, saying her involvement is driven by financial considerations.
Speaking in an interview with *African A-List*, the actress said she was not interested in discussing Nigerian politics, which she described as “d+rt,” while stressing that she was not asking anyone to vote for a particular candidate.
“Nigeria politics is d+rt so I do not want to talk about it. I am not saying you should not vote for whoever you want to vote for,” she said.
When asked whether she would accept money to endorse or support a politician, Oshodi-Oke said people should understand that she, like many others, is seeking ways to make a living.
“If you see me behind any politician, anybody, just see it as if she is looking for something to put food on the table. Just leave, let her eat. Do not ins¥lt or drag me,” she said.
