Caramel Plugg Says Booking an Entire Restaurant for a Date Should Be Considered Normal

Media personality and influencer Caramel Plugg has sparked reactions online after sharing her perspective on grand romantic gestures, including business-class flight upgrades and booking an entire restaurant for a private celebration.

Caramel Plugg shared her views during a recent episode of *Drink or Spill*, where she responded to questions about the kinds of gestures she would expect from a romantic partner.

During the conversation, she was asked how she would react if a partner upgraded her flight to business or first class without informing her whenever she travelled.

The influencer said such a gesture might not feel particularly extraordinary to her, noting that she already purchases business-class tickets for herself.

“I don’t want to sound somehow, but I already do that on my own, I already get myself business class tickets. So maybe that’s why it’s bare minimum. I’m so sorry. I’m not that person, but I swear it’s just because I already do these things myself,” she said.

The interviewer then asked how she would feel if a partner booked an entire restaurant for her to celebrate her birthday privately with family and friends.

Caramel Plugg first sought clarification on the scenario before noting that her reaction would partly depend on the restaurant involved.

“It depends on the restaurant, girl. Oh. It depends on the restaurant. It’s true now. You guys don’t make me sound cocky, but it depends on the restaurant. Like, what if he takes me to, like Mama Put?” she said.

She, however, acknowledged that booking an entire restaurant could be viewed as a thoughtful and romantic gesture, while suggesting that such gestures should not necessarily be regarded as extraordinary.

“I think it’s just special. I think that’s a special thing to do genuinely, like to book out the entire restaurant. I think it’s a special thing to do, but I also think it’s a normal thing to do most times,” she added.
