English Championship club Charlton Athletic have made contact to sign Super Eagles goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo.
Charlton have contacted Wrexham and proposed a loan for Okonkwo, but Wrexham are trying to negotiate a direct sale. Arthur Okonkwo prefers Charlton.
Charlton CEO Jim Rodwell confirmed that the club were in talks with Wrexham regarding the signing of one of their players, clarifying that the player is not midfielder George Dobson.
Rodwell said that he had a conversation with Wrexham on Thursday about one of their players, who he stated will remain nameless.
