The controversy surrounding actress Judy Austin and her marriage to actor Yul Edochie has resurfaced after fresh allegations from her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi.
Speaking during an appearance on the *The Honest Bunch Podcast*, Obasi made a series of emotional claims about his past relationship with the actress, alleging that they were married and had two children together before their union collapsed.
According to Obasi, Judy frequently expressed admiration for Yul Edochie during their marriage, even while they were still living together as husband and wife.
“Anytime we were watching TV and Yul Edochie appeared, Judy wouldn’t concentrate anymore,” he claimed. “She would be telling me to my face that she loves Yul and be praising him.”
Obasi further alleged that the actress often spoke fondly of Yul’s voice, claiming she once told him it reminded her of a relative.
During the interview, he displayed what he described as photographs from their traditional wedding ceremony and maintained that he invested heavily in the event.
According to him, Judy had 18 bridesmaids, and he personally covered the cost of their aso ebi outfits as part of the wedding preparations.
The former husband also alleged that he possesses multiple pieces of evidence that support his assertion that Judy Austin and Yul Edochie were involved in a relationship while she was still residing in his home.
Neither Judy Austin nor Yul Edochie had publicly responded to the latest allegations at the time of this report.
The claims have since generated renewed discussion on social media, reviving long-standing debates surrounding the actors’ relationship and the circumstances that led to their highly publicised marriage.
