The transfer of Zadok Yohanna has now been narrowed to a tug-of-war between Premier League clubs after Newcastle United moved in with a bigger offer for the sensational winger than that of Brighton.
Brighton have tabled an offer of around 23 million euros for the youngster.
However, this has now been surpassed by what Newcastle are offering – 25 million euros plus additional five million euros on performance-related add-ons.
A source familiar with this transfer has now said an agreement could be reached this week on the player’s transfer.
He has previously said that as many as 10 Premier League were jostling for the signature of Zadok.
