Author and feminist commentator Chidera Eggerue, popularly known as Slumflower, has stirred intense reactions online following her comments about relationships, gender roles and what women bring into romantic partnerships.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Echo Room podcast, Slumflower responded to a question from the host about the value she believes she brings to a man in a relationship.

According to her, many men often ask women to justify their value during conversations about relationships and expectations, but she does not believe she owes such explanations.

“I bring nothing. I am the value. I’m a woman,” she stated.

Slumflower further argued that women naturally add vibrancy, emotional fulfillment and enjoyment to men’s lives simply through their presence.

The author also made it clear that she does not feel pressured to convince men of her worth, insisting that the right men would willingly provide for women who share her mindset.

Her comments have since sparked heated debates across social media, with users divided over modern dating expectations, gender roles and the idea of value in relationships.
