Wolves relegation from the Premier League was confirmed after Crystal Palace and West Ham played out a draw Monday night and as a result several players including Tolu Arokodare are expected to now leave.
Relegation means Arokodare will have to take a huge pay cut should he feature in the second-tier English Championship next season.
However, the giant striker has recently been linked with Turkish giants Besiktas.
It was reported in January that Wolves rejected a 15 million euros bid by the Istanbul giants as they sdemanded between 25 and 30 million euros.
He was close to joining another top Turkish team, Trabzonspor, while he was still playing in Belgium.
“It’s true that I was almost gone, but (Thorsten) Fink (Genk coach) convinced me to stay,” he said.
Arokodare, 25, signed for Wolves last summer from Belgian club Genk for 22 million euros.
He has scored three goals and made an assist in 28 appearances in the Premier League this season.
His contract is until June 2029 with the club having the option to extend by a further year.
