Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk has expressed confidence that Victor Osimhen could now return to action even ahead of the derby against Fenerbache.
Galatasaray won 3-1 at Goztepe Wednesday to now go four points clear of both Fenerbache and Trabzonspor in a tight Turkish Super Lig title race.
Osimhen is widely believed will be fully fit and ready for action on April 26 for the ‘Intercontinental Derby’ against bitter city rivals Fenerbache.
However, coach Okan Buruk has now hinted the star striker could even be named on the squad for the clash away to Genclerbirligi on April 18.
“Victor Osimhen might be in the squad for the Gençlerbirliği match if conditions permit. However, perhaps…against Fenerbache, we might use him in the match as well. We’ll see how things go,” the Galatasaray coach disclosed.
